monitoring temps during gaming

I've got myself a nice dual display going on, 22 widscreen for gaming and my old 15tft displaying my temps,but this does seem a bit overkill just to keep an eye on my temps .

Have been looking at fan controlers

but if I could get one that could control my 8800GTX aswell then I won't need the second display.
Any recomendations !

You can use Rivatuner with a little configuration to control the fan speed on your 8800.
