Hey,

I've been having a rather annoying problem since i purchased a custom pc - Basically, The monitors decide to shut down on me about two times a day. The pc is still running when this happens. Hope someone can help!

Hardware;

MSi H81M-P33 Socket LGA 1150 Motherboard,
Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition unlocked Dual Core Processor @ 3.2Ghz
8Gb (2 x 4Gb) 1333Mhz Kingston HyperX memory
Cool-It ECO II 120mm Sealed Unit Liquid CPU Cooler
XFX Ghost Edition HD7850 2Gb Graphics Card
Cooler Master GX 650 watt Power Supply Unit
Crucial C300, 120Gb Solid State Primary Drive
Seagate 1Tb Seconday Hard Disk Drive
NZXT S340 Midi, Windowed, White Gaming Case
4 x 120mm NZXT case fans (2 x front intake, 1 x rear exhaust, 1 x top radiator exhaust)

I had some issues with one of my monitors losing the signal randomly after getting a longer DP cable (worked fine with the original, not sure if was just a bad replacement or if it wasn't up to spec or what).
Don't know if that could be it, but fwiw.

Which monitor?

Mine used to drop signal for a few seconds, randomly and for varying periods of time. Turns out the HDMI cable was occasionally getting pushed out of alignment, is all.

I had a similar issue and couldn't work out if it was my gtx 980 or monitor at fault. Was the Intel integrated graphics on my 4790k. Disabled it in bois. Problem gone.

I could use some help :/ i've gone through a plethora of forum posts etc but it seems to be windows 10. Basically, my computer goes into sleep mode and i wiggle the mouse it comes back on.

It happens like every 20 mins even with power options adjusted.

The fact that you said multiple monitors go at the same time suggested it's a video card/windows setting.

Are you part of a domain? As group policy might be overwriting your power options.

Are they the same monitor model? As some monitors have a sleep mode built in that you might have to disable
