You need a unused red scratch card that comes with the 3DS to register the device on Club Nintendo. If the red scratch card is used then the 3DS is likely to be registered already.

Registered the code - just need to wait for Nintendo's servers to start playing ball (can't currently link the 3DS to a club nintendo account, common issue apparently...just need to wait) and then I'll be able to send the next code on

Cheers for the code mate, think i finally got it sorted.
Couple of things -

-Make sure you link your 3ds to your club nintendo account in the eshop.

-The regestration / download page is a pain to find, i found it on the second banner across on the welcome screen of the club Nintendo page.

-After entering the code i was emailed, I got a code on that screen, which allowed me to download it through the eshop on my ds.

I am now waiting for an email with the codes on so that i can pass it on.

Thanks HecFam, I received the code, although I'm having a problem. I keep receiving the following message when trying to claim it;

We're sorry, but something appears to have gone wrong while we were processing your claim. To ensure that your claim is made correctly, please return to the My Account page of the Club Nintendo website and click the promotional banner again to restart the process.

That never happened to me, i'll trust you the code again just to be sure i didn't type it wrong, see if it works.

Did you go to the monster hunter banner, or are you trying to redeem it as a game?
