Monty Python reunion!

Python wasn't funny the first time round, from what I've seen of it.

When it first came out it was a revelation but I see your point.
The closest (IMO) I've got to it is the 'childrens' series Horrible Histories and the same team are on their 3rd of a new series called Yonderland.

some of the off the wall stuff they did was creative and fun. some was just ive just smoked a spliff and laugh at anything funny.

as with many older actors comedians and such just stop ! i understand the payday lure but they really arnt funny any more .

I loved the Holy Grail stage show, that really worked so i don't know why this one wouldn't

You have to appreciate most these comments are by people that aren't fans, would sooner slate it before it arrives, or have never seen a live performance of them though....... IE, not the target audience :p

Exactly, this is for fans of Monty Python. Those that would no doubt be quite happy to pay to watch these guys on stage eating their dinner.

What they do is some how not important just the chance to see them all together on stage is worth paying for.

Hmmm I dont know what to think!

Just seen them on The One Show... lots of talk about old sketches with SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM slapped on top lol!

Its proper Monty Python, this time in old-pensioner mode!

I'm a fan. They shouldn't do this.

You don't get to use "They're not really fans!" to nullify any criticisms.

I managed to get 4 tickets for the Saturday, got them about 11am through the O2 AXS site after going through their "Waiting Room" system. Ticketmaster was absolutely useless.

It's a bit of a risk I guess, because as mentioned it could be terrible, but I didnt want to miss out..

I gave up after 2 hours and no tickets. I was offered the £95 band, but they turn out to be £106 after the fees... but wanting to buy 4 made it a touch pricey.

I did notice that a load of the seats int eh venue weren't on sale today. Seats in the gods were available, but the levels below that? Nope....

Someone I know who joined the waiting room about 10 minutes after me got tickets at opening time. Hmmm. Nice system.

My tickets were block 106, which is the middle "lower" tier just behind the floor seats, right in the middle, but £95 each as you say. I was also offered some of the cheaper tickets via Ticketmaster but these were at the back of the 400 blocks and were listed as "Not suitable for persons with fear of heights".
