Then you're looking in the wrong place.
Most people think they are on the far side but they are actually on the sides and inside the moon.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but surely a big hunk of rock smashing into the moon would create a lot of heat, melting said rock? And as the molten rock cools and solidifies, cracks appear in the surface of it? Cracks like that one?

As we've already found out, the resolution is 145ppm, so that little wiggly line is probably more like a canyon in reality.

I'm no astrogeologist, but I find that idea somewhat more plausible than the idea of LOL SPACESHIPS AND ALIENS.
