Moonlight - anyone watching?

Can't wait, watched all of them over the last week in anticipation. Its a horrible rip off of angel but its still very enjoyable, and Sophia is not only gorgeous but very good in the role as well. I've wanted to see her in a regular role since her episode of Doctor Who.

Agreed, she does a very good job in the role, along with 'Mick St. John' lol - funny name tbh!

I too loved her one off as 'Reinette' in Dr Who - will have to dig up that episode and watch it again. I really liked the way 'Hallam Foe' was done too - saw that recently and it got me looking for other things she's done and Moonlight was the result of that search :)

I discovered Moonlight in the same way I discover every good show really, the Whedon connection. The similarities with Angel and the fact that Tim Minear worked on it at the beginning.

One thing that caught my eye in Alex O'Loughlin's IMDB page was "Has a six-year contract with CBS regarding his role in Moonlight."

Sounds promising for any future series - which I really do hope they go with :D

Is this a quality show, or does it have the general feel to it like this show is pretty good but I have a feeling it's going to be canned? I hate it when you're watching a decent show and halfway through the 2nd season the evil network decides the ratings ain't good enough so it gets canned just as it starts to get really interesting - Take Tru Calling as a good example there.

I'm kinda tired of investing my time watching shows just to have a massive anti-climax when they get canned... :(

Put it this way - 5,000 + people in the US gave blood to the Red Cross in aid of raising awareness to this series !

Thats obviously hardcore fans but there is undoubtedly a big following, the overall feeling is that it will be picked up for a 2nd season and hopefully more there after :)

Agreed, he's just been hiding behind the Vamp lifestyle till now, but Beth knows that's not going to stop them :)

Am interested to see what happens with Lance and taking Coraline to Europe - the vamp 'cure' and all that explains how she survived the initial attempt on her life by Mick all those years back !

You seen the latest episode - its a good'un - imo of course ;)

They are starting up all sorts of little sub plots and directions they could take the series!

Lets just hope CBS likes the viewing figures enough to renew it!

*I haven't actually seen your Facebook page, got link :p ?

Also, I never realised Alex O' was Ms. Valances bf! Lucky bugger :p

Micks attempt to be more in touch with modern society - getting a FB account an all that was just daft lol but funny.

Be interesting to see how long beth is able to keep the secret about what she had Josef do for her at the end of the ep ...

Well thats that - all finished, not looking likely that anyones going to pick it up either.

Shame as there were lots of things I would like to see explored / questions answered but hey ho :(

It's a real shame when things like this go down the pan - much like Firefly did - although admittedly that's on another level but even so ...

Makes one wonder whether they filmed a different ending that did "end" things in a way or whether this was the planned end to the season - my personal feeling is that there was another ending which would have left things even more open for a 2nd season.

RIP Moonlight!

Im still hoping it'll get picked up elsewhere :(. I guess I'm just glad that this is the only new show I watch that got cancelled, it could have been worse. Plus Dollhouse is keeping me happy with TV :)

I've really enjoyed watching Moonlight, it was an addictive and interesting series; really liked the characters. I'm gutted it's not going to be continued.
