More 360 backwards compatability

I bought a DC for £25 on the highstreet from a large game store, with VMU and all cables unboxed.

It's the Shenmue game itself which is expensive! Still, never played Shenmue II, only the first. Brilliant game though.

Definitely. I can't play most of my original Xbox library which is a big let-down.

Slightly off-topic but is Ninja Gaiden PAL-60? I've never played it and looks worth picking up on the cheap. (And would you say Original or Black?)

Yip , its Pal 60

Looks fab over the VGA cable.

Might as well go for Black as both are dire cheap.

That was one of my favourite games on the Xbox :p
That and Ninja Gaiden:Black were the only two games I kept

Me too :( Don't see why they haven't done it yet, was one of the last great titles on the Xbox. Brilliant game.

Glad to see Shenmue 2 on the list though :)

Conker is actually in the update! :D
The list posted earlier in the thread was a leaked list that didn't include conker.

Just tried it and it does work! :D BUT it wont let me play using my VGA cable because it apparently doesn't support PAL-50 setting required for the game. Is there anyway to make it work with VGA, or am I going to have to move my 360 everytime I want to play Conker? :(

Agreed. Backwards compatibility is pointless if it doesn't work through the lead and screen you happen to use. Out of 20+ xbox games I own I can only play Halo 2.

It's also a pitty they can't make them run in HD res, since upscaled 480p looks no better than 480p to me. It may even look worse.

OH YES! PGR2, Finally. A much bigger and better game than PGR3 imo. This should put me on 'til PGR4 once i finish Forza. I can't wait to try it.
 
Don't forget this:

Every title that is listed above now works with the Xbox 360; since they can be played on the console, they will also be fully anti-aliased and upscaled to either 720p or 1080i (depending on your display).

so am i right in thinking that this refers to playing xbox games on the 360 and not that they are re-releasing them for the 360?
