More AM3+ Motherboards

When's are these boards actually available to buy? Crosshair V looks amazing. :D

It seems strange to have a paper launch considering there's a slew of processors already out that are compatible with them.
Judging by ETAs and current availability listed elsewhere, I'd say second half of next week or early the week thereafter. The Crosshair V has an ETA of June 21 in Sweden, for instance.

Thinking UD5 and dual-core phenom 555 (maybe unlock to quad-core).....

Supposed to be saving money to move out here.......

Ive pre-ordered for Asus Crosshair FV and then when BD CPU is release in few months time then I will buy one.... Im no in hurry as it still in pre-order so maybe it come out in few weeks or months. plenty of time

Been a skankoid matey and gone sempron, its just to play with the board till the real action starts ;)

Im assuming 9 series does unlocks!?
They do indeed. :)

The Thunderbolt card comes with a different, more expensive version of the CHV. It'll likely be launched at a later date.

Its going to be another pack IE CHV/Thunderbolt pack by the sounds of it. The current CHVs Ive seen around at the minute haven't got these included and haven't seen the to come CHV/Thunderbolt pack anywhere to preorder etc yet.
I don't think you can buy the Add on card seperate anywhere yet, even though its been out quite a while already (Supplied with other boards already). There were plans but never heard any more for a seperate.

Can any motherboard expert sum up the difference between the UD3 and UD5 for me please? (And maybe UD7, but that's pushing it :D)

The descriptions look the same and the specs for me are incredibly hard to read apart from they both will hold up to 32GB RAM at "2000(O.C.)/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz" and both have SATA III.

What else should I be looking at? :)

yeah i'm struggling to decide between the UD5 and UD7, i dont beleive i'll need the UD7 as i will at most probably use two cards in crossfire but want to know if there is any other benefits to the UD7 over the UD5.
