More CPU cooling needed with faster RAM?

Is this true? Looking at buying a a CPU/MOBO bundle and the site says that i'll need a liquid CPU cooler if I buy RAM faster than 1600. :confused:

what board? faster ram doesn't increase cpu temps from what ive seen,only very slightly on older x58 motherboards where you'd have to up the memory controller voltage,but even then it would be one/two degrees

you'll be fine,no cpu heat increase with 32gb+ ram installed

im running 8gb myself @2133mhz on z77 board just fine

No issues here running the kit in sig at 2600mhz.

Alpenfohn k2 air cooler.

8gb of avexir 2133 + 4770k + Megahalems with 2 pwm fans on push/pull.
I've had this ram at 1600mhz before and there is no difference in temps.
