More critique required :)

Spent the afternoon in a quiet area of the new forest again the other day. Not much around to photograph and the day was hazy for nice landscape shots. So the focus of my attention - a gorse bush, a burned gorse bush and an inquisitive gul - who I wasted nearly 1Gb of shots on :eek:

For your shots do you enhance the colours at all in photoshop? The first one is really vivid!

Not really no. I have played around a bit with the levels - but I'm using an old paint shop pro, for which there aren't many guides. I think for the middle two I may have manually set the color temperature a few K higher in RAW processing, which brought out a richer spectrum. Really that’s pretty much how 1 came out of the camera.

I'm still chasing an ellusive image that I can sit back and say "I'm really proud of that one". Gotta get practising for Scilly in the summer :cool:
