More DS4 issues - No LAN???

I eventually got my replacement board, which worked first time....... (I knew the first one was BORKED)

Recieved replacement board on Friday 15th September..... Installed everything and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately I had to go on holiday the next day so I didn't have much of a chance to use it until I got back on sunday 24th. Anyway, got some games up and running, installed all my programs etc. Everything working perfectly.

I was using the internet this morning and turned off PC before going to work.... Came home & switched on..... NO INTERNET ???

Checked Network Connections folder, No LAN icon, just the 1394adaptor. Checked device managed and I had ? with "unknown PCI device" next to it and no Marvel Yukon icon..... Wierd!

From past experience I decided it would be less hastle and faster to just re-format the PC, so I did a fresh Windows install and re-installed all the drivers etc, but still no LAN icon & still all the problems remain.....

Personally the only thing I can think of is that the network adaptor is borked, and hence the board is borked AGAIN! (that'll be the 2nd Gigatripe Board!)

BTW, no lights come on when I plug the ethernet cable in either!

Sorted now..... After a bit of googling I found out that these boards have a bad driver supplied with them.....

Anyone else having the same problems needs to download the updated chipset and marvell drivers to get it to work again!

Hi, had same problem on mine with unknown pci? I ended up clearing cmos and that solved it. My ethernet connection also took about 8 attempts to get a find my modem  Upraded to F5 bios and my temps are lower in Easy Tune now, weird. Just waiting to get a Conroe when funds permit and start the fun :D
