More DS4 issues - No LAN???
I eventually got my replacement board, which worked first time....... (I knew the first one was BORKED)
Recieved replacement board on Friday 15th September..... Installed everything and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately I had to go on holiday the next day so I didn't have much of a chance to use it until I got back on sunday 24th. Anyway, got some games up and running, installed all my programs etc. Everything working perfectly.
I was using the internet this morning and turned off PC before going to work.... Came home & switched on..... NO INTERNET ???
Checked Network Connections folder, No LAN icon, just the 1394adaptor. Checked device managed and I had ? with "unknown PCI device" next to it and no Marvel Yukon icon..... Wierd!
From past experience I decided it would be less hastle and faster to just re-format the PC, so I did a fresh Windows install and re-installed all the drivers etc, but still no LAN icon & still all the problems remain.....
Personally the only thing I can think of is that the network adaptor is borked, and hence the board is borked AGAIN! (that'll be the 2nd Gigatripe Board!)
BTW, no lights come on when I plug the ethernet cable in either!
