I was explaining the LCD screen to my partner. I think she stopped listening before I got to the end.

hahaha exactly the same with me. I always attempt to justify my expensive purchases with details that she just doesn’t care about. Thought the lcd screen would have a bit of conversational weight! She was just like: “hmm lcd screen, righhht”

Thanks for the update, sounds like I could be waiting until December then as I only ordered a few days ago :( Knew I should have ordered at launch as they put the price up by £100 a few days later and now I’ll be lucky if I get it this year :(

Price didn't go up a few days later it was updated throughout launch day which has stayed the same. I paid an eye watering £900 for the xtreme 5mins after launch.
 
got my email this morning. im 342 in the que system. i guess thats not so bad. to the people that orderd the xtream. what powersupply do you have.

Oh wow, i saw it at £799 at launch but site kept crashing and couldn't get an order in so checked a few days later and it was £899

Nice, i picked up a Corsair Rm850i a few weeks ago in preparation for the 3080, just need to order some custom cables from cablemod for it so it looks pretty

i currently have an evga G2L 850. im a bit concerned about the connection though. this card needs 3 connections.. i only have 2 cables but it works out as 4 connections since there both split. i hope this wont be a problem.

I can’t see it being an issue, but with the time we will have to wait for these to turn up I guess you could always save for a new PSU and sell your old one

wouldent have to save. i was originly going to get a 3090 so i have the cash if i need to. Do we have any indication as to how many units of auros cards will be in stock when they are out?

Worth probably getting a new PSU then.
No indication, I think the gigabyte rep said they would be shipping a small quantity in the next 2 weeks. I also spoke to OCUK earlier to change my delivery address as I’m moving house in 2 weeks and the guy said I should see the card in Jan :(
