More new GPU units -big pointers

Just got my first of these. Is it better to run them on above normal priority and it so do you set the priority in the gpu f@h interface or do you set the priority of the process in windows?

If you set the priority in the windows process manager, the ppd increases by quite a bit. I have the card set to 'slightly higher' priority in the client config and it doesn't seem to be enough to actually give it the cpu time it needs.

Have changed the priority to high but it doesn't seem to have made much of a difference?

Odd - it does make a big difference to me (about 1000ppd on a GTX280), but i am running SMP clients as well, so that could be the cause. It could be a more complicated combination of other programs and driver etc...

The new WU's don't seem to make my 9600GSO's strain as much which is a good thing. Seems more stable than the previous WU's.
