You won't get 4gb of new DDR2 for under £40 at overclockers. Just Google 6400 DDR2, or look for some second hand stuff

does it have to be the same make of ram for it to work??

No, but ideally it should be the same speed.

The problem is not getting the RAM, but getting it for your price target.

DDR2 is pretty old hat now, supply is low, and consequently the price is high. 4GB of DDR2 will cost you £60 from OcUK.

seems that your mobo suppor ddr3 it will be better if you get 4gb ddr3 as it will be faster and also it could be cheaper
his mobo:

the shame its the speed(limited to 4gb and 1333MHz
so think about this:
4 gb ddr3 at 1333MHz under £40

or get another set of the same ram

will this one also work?

does that mean any ddr3 will work then??

It should work fine, but with most boards which can take the higher speed ram, ie 1600mhz, 2133mhz you need to manually setup the speed & timings, alternate you can load the XMP settings which will load the correct values for the ram being used.

Your board will eiher see the ram as 1066mhz or 1333mhz, only way to see is pop into the BIOS or load CPU-Z.

You'll need to add 8GB of DDR3 if you want to add 4GB, as you can't use both DDR2 & DDR3 at the same time.

Also take note, that motherboard has issues with 8GB of DDR3, officially it only supports up to 4GB DDR3.
