More reasons to stick with Firefox

Been ages since I've tried FF. Downloaded it, opened BBC, lag and stutter when scrolling the page. Uninstalled, it's just awful to use when Chrome is pretty smooth.

Something wrong there - I load the BBC landing site or news page in like 1.9 seconds (though some images stream in as I scroll) and it scrolls up and down perfectly smooth - might be related to your GPU power management and/or hardware acceleration settings. Same on my phone - FF scrolls BBC site fine.

I have a Z3, pretty much every site has laggy scrolling but no other app properly developed does. It looks nice but the performance is unacceptable for me.

It's slightly better on my Nexus 7 but still too jittery compared to Chrome. Probably doesn't work properly on all Androids then.

I might give FF a try on Android and desktop. Its been a while since I used it, but I have to say, Chrome is becoming hideously slow on some websites for me when I use just a handful of extensions, and since I can no longer use Chrome on Android due the battery drain (yep, another S7 owner here), I can feasibly give something else a try.

haven't tried ff in years, put it on my surface pro3 when i spotted this post a couple of days ago -so far its great

I find all browsers unacceptably slow, I'm for ever clicking on the wrong thing because the page moved... But my idea of unacceptably slow is anything over 1 second
