More snow on its way

I got into work ok sadly, if it had been too bad i would have just turned around.

The M6 was standstill going the other way so I hope that clears before I leave work which should be fairly early I think, I'm not risking it in these conditions.

Hope I get my delivery from overclockers today so I can play with my new headphones tonight.

just made this :

Just about to go into Uni, even though I can just see white were the road and pavement should normally be outside my house. Apparently its "business as usual" *Waits for it all to be suddenly canceled when I arrive*

Apparently a few councils have run out of grit..

My local council hadn't put any down in the first place. Not so much as a single speck.

Roads were significantly better once I reached Sutton Coldfield on my way through to Lichfield this morning, with clear evidence of grading and gritting. I even saw a gritting truck doing the rounds.

No such luxuries in my own neighbourhood, alas.

Mum said they have day off and are playing on the snow. Now wishing I had stayed at home rather than be keen and stay down in London.

I wants to plays in teh snow and go WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D

The snow melted yesterday quite a bit, but I woke up today and the ground is covered again :D I don't even think my bus is running

Mine was running a limited service, took an hour to get a bus today...although the snowman a girl made whilst waiting was amusing.

Yes, it has hair.

Had about 3 inches today, built an igloo, had a snowball fight.
College closed, bus i use was doing a third of its route for some reason.
But god damn tescos for staying open, I have work at 5 now :(
If people start panic buying I think I may have to rip them over my till and slap them upside the head with my pimp hand, adds to my hatred of customers.

That picture proves you have a pathetic amount of snow, I'd give the bus driver a talking to. Still nothing around these parts, just sleet sleet and more sleet. Its so warm outside I might have a barby!

Pop over to Swaledale, there's feet of the stuff up there.

Exactly, it was only a couple inches deep on the roads, and the bus wouldn't drive up/down any of the hills, pathetic. :p

Seriously though, a bus got stuck on a hill in Reading this morning due to lacking of salt/grit on the roads. So Reading buses decided against sendding buses on hilly routes, which is fair enough.

Looking at those warnings, day off tomorrow for me. :)
