IT WILL BE SLOW !!
The only time I've seen vista boot up fast and run 100% smooth was on the 8core mac pro with 32gb of ram. Now that was smooooth !
And yeh, 2gb + vista = crap.
4 is like total minimum I would say.
Really? I've got 4 computers, all running Vista 32bit, all with 2GB DDR2 RAM and GPU's ranging from 8600M to 8800GTX. All run fine and smooth. The two lappy's take 44/47 seconds from power-up to log-in and my main PC takes 24 seconds.
Never come across any lack of RAM related crashes/issues playing latest games.
And yeah, advice saying "2gb + vista = crap" = crap.
