Right i need more storage i currently have a crucial m4 128bg as my primary drive and a crappy old seagate 320gb as a storage drive aswell as 1tb external back up. Thing is my crappy old drive is dying and i need to get a new drive, now my dilema is should i get another crucial m4 128gb and have a raid set up or should i get a more standard drive and save a few quid. Mind you the prices have dropped significantly. Or as an alternative should i get a hybrid drive as you can see im at a loss any help guys would be appreciated.

What sort of things are on the old drive that you're replacing? For example are just general files and folders stored on it? And is the drive full or getting there?

With raid 0 you are doubling the chance of failure so unles you really need it or just want to play around its not worth bothering imo. Besides you would be left without a storage drive from the sounds of it.
If its for storage there is less point going for a hybrid as you wont be accessing it as often or presumably the same data repeatedly to make the onboard flash useful for fast data retrieval (it determines what to store there from your most accessed data).

around £80-£89 for a big 2tb hdd,job done,keep your ssd for os/essential programs, hdd/games/movies ect
