I'm sure people never take these 20mph advisory signs to seriously, however thanks to one of the three idiots who felt it necessary to come roaring past at at least 60 (i was doing about 40) shotblasting the front on my car i now need another new windscreen. This will be the second in three weeks and another £60.
I don't expect people to do 20. But it would be nice to see a little consideration for other people's property, especially when the time saved is measurable in seconds.
Rant over, new screen comes next week.
Do you mean loose chipping? It's a cheap way of mending a road, they just spray tar down, cover it in small stones, then a fortnight later they come and sweep up what hasn't stuck down.

No, between Gailey and Penkridge, same deal though. I don't know why they did that, they have just done the Brewood road (a minor road in comparison) properly, dug up and completely re done, it's smooth as a bowling green there now.
I hate it when they resurface roads like this, also any man hole covers seem to get deeper each time, round here they are all over an inch lower than the surface now.
