I wish they went back to proper MK1 roots and made it using actors, cameras and digitised sprites. But instead filmed with 3d cameras and 4k. It would make for a revolutionary game.
CGI and rendering just looks poor in comparison to mk1 & mk2 imo
Could you imagine* the cost of hiring ~10 actors for months of filming with 4k 3d cameras, then programming it all.Yea. That would be awesome.
As for this. Just watched the trailer on my pc and the story seems good, certainly better than what we have seen before from what little I saw of it. The stages also look very good. Also the moves. But the character models were bit of a let down. Nowhere near as much detail as I was expecting.
Oh and there was stutter in a bloody trailer.. Does not bode well. Wasn't Johnny Cage going to be Can Damme or something? Overall I lost a bit of excitement for this. Will still buy it, but not at the current asking prices.
I can't say that really did anything for me. Just looked like MK11 but with assists and I've always thought MK's jumping and animations looked bad and jaring. Having assist characters jumping in all the time definately doesn't help that.
i just bought MK XL (about £4)
i haven't played since MK 3 days
played 3 and went back to 2, that was awesome
haven't played any since then i don't think
so if XL is anything to go by, this new one is going to be brilliant
It's cool that they've finally got Van Damme but the more I see of the game the more I'm turned off to the point I'm not going to bother with it. Stages look awesome but the animations are so awful and jarring. Maybe spend some of that Jean Claude and Megan Fox money on decent animators
Awesome!!
Still not paying their sill day one asking price though. Needs to be around £35.
I think that was MK11.Is this the one with batman and the terminator in?
Cheers, can't justify the massive cost for this new one, might grab it in the steam sale eventuallymust be as there's no Batman in MK10
as i bought the ultimate edition not long ago
