I got an e-mail saying it was released on the 9th of June.

Bit of a retarded post but thought it was highly sought about and would've had more coverage here.

E3 Trailer was released on the 9th of June.

edit yes it's released *doik* lol, I failed @ reading thread title

it's released yes, but if you want to pay way over what it should be priced at for a half completed mmo do so, Darkfall is still the king, MO have a lot to do still to make it interesting.

I am playing, it is already waaay better and more developed than Darkfall. Still too many bugs though and the UI is clunky.

Saying that I am having fun each time I login, it is the first time I have played a MMO since UO that felt like a 3D UO. No stupid quests, you can kill anyone outside the guard zones, thievery is coming (currently disabled). No stupid levels, all about skills and practicing them. There is housing and what a lot of people (even those critical of the game) say is the best crafting system since SWG (some claim better) and the devs are promising lots more to the crafting to beat SWG's into submission.

The min they update it with thievery I will buy this game for sure !

Nothing quite like stealing peoples stuff :D

i gave up downloading method is worst then ever download speeds are to slow i think i downloaded around 8 gig already and still going.

dont buy box content as its only lame box with cd that is worthless (beta client ) u still have to download it

Anyone got a link for the price? i can see its 14.25 euros a month, but can't see how much the initial box/dl is.

It's around 40 euros for the digital download. Me and my girlfriend have bought the game and to say it's missing a lot of content is an understatement, although the devs seem to be working hard and a patch is added almost daily. I truly believe that in 6 months it will be as close to a 3d UO as we are as ever likely to see.

So is this actually a hard core mmo? You die you can loose stuff? Not just a silly xp debt.
How does it all work?

Also how much in £ does it cost per month/to buy the game?

You die, your stuff is left on your corpse for someone to come grab...

Great stuff, its things like this take keep the greifers away making a more mature spread of players.

Just cant justify paying £41 for a game i dont even know if i will like.
Is it really £41? Im hoping i worked it out wrong.

yup you worked it out wrong,

its actually 50.0617 GBP. Because if you read the small print it says 49.94, inc VAT 9.99. Thats for the DL only.

So basically 50quid for the game.

Well by the sounds of it, it does sound really like a decent 3D UO which I would love. But it sounds like it is still in development so I think I will hold off for a while. Maybe they will do a free trial in the future.
