I find at gigs, it's more fun to step back with your mates and laugh at the midgets who go round the edge and just hit people in the back.

I can remember when rock fans used to go and watch the bands because the music was interesting.

I saw the Sex Pistols and The Ramones twice each and I never saw anything remotely like moshing. We did a thing called pogo'ing where we jumped up and down. I wasn't very good at it so I carried on headbanging.

In my experience it has always been pogo'ing at gigs and moshing in clubs

Ive been talking to a mate about download which reminded me about mosh pits when i used to go to rock nights more a few years ago. How come in mosh pits people get hurt (and i used to quite a lot) but you dont really feel the pain. Is it because its so intense? Is it sort of like on the film 'fight club'

Last time i went into a mosh pit i chipped 4 teeth! Still go in em though!
