Most CFM, Least dB 120mm Case Fan

Any suggestions???

Can you get better 120mm fans than this: 54.3CFM, 19.8dB?

I go for the Yate Loon fans... great performance at a great price. Generally regarded as being one of the few companies to advertise accurate dB and CFM numbers.

I recommend the SL for case fans and the SM for your CPU.

Thanks for the advice.. will probably get one in a sec!

Just a quick question, i was looking at maybe getting some sharkoon fans, the 2000 variant. On the specs they are listed to move 76.4 CFM @ 34dB whereas the Yate Loon DSL moves 47cfm @ 28db. Is the extra noise (slight) and double the price worth the extra compared to the DSL, as i would be looking at getting 4-5 of them to go in my 690.

Cheers for the help.

For every 10db the air pressure is double (if I remember correctly)

Hmmm, i may go for the DSLs then. They are to replace the Coolermaster ones that came with my CM690. Gonna combine them with the Akasa fan controller so hopefully will notice a difference.

silent fans, Noctau rules:)

They do look very impressive, but i cant really justify spending over 60 quid on fans unfortunately.

I shall see how my finances go this month (have the gf's bday this month ) and then decide whether to go yate or sharkoon.
