Most complex game you know?

Having bought more games on the 464 than I care to admit I wondered why this one didn't register in my ancient teenage memories...

A quick visit to wiki and google images showed me the horror. It's a Tir Na Nog clone. As a result this is probably a winner for sheer WTF is happening! :D

It wasn't exactly a clone; it was an SF game in the same style as Tir na Nog and Dun Darach from the same author. It's also a better game, IMHO - I wish they'd been able to make the sequels.

Anarchy Online, I tried to get into it a few years back and failed, it wasn't just completely different to anything I'd experienced before but I simply couldn't find any decent sources of help to teach me the basics of the game.

If they ever get their mythical engine upgrade into the game I'll be back there like a shot, fantastically deep game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops, Modern Warefare 3, and well all of them!

...

...

What does OP mean by complex, difficult? complicated? strong mechanics?

Difficulty: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat on Master difficulty, try taking on a base of 20 mercenaries when you die in 2-3 shots! :p

Complicated: Sim City! Need I say more? :p

Strongest Mechanics?: Morrowind, easily the most enjoyable 3D RPG out, and with the MSGO (Morrowind Sound & Graphics Overhaul) it looks as good as most games, its about graphically on par with Kingdoms of Amalur. There are a few engine overhauls and mods that make it feel less dated too, but I personally enjoy the old school feel of the gameplay, mixed in with the fairly hardcore Dungeons & Dragons mechanics, just feels like your playing a solo Pen&Paper RPG in 1080p! :D

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Minecraft. I suppose it's not that complex in itself, but allows for some bloody complex behaviour within its sandbox.

Terarria is 10x more complex, I'll give Minecraft it's props though, its completely opened up the market to its genre, which is a lot of fun, but if you haven't tried Terarria, I suggest you do, its Mario crossed with Minecraft and works 10x better.

Broken sword used to mind **** me to absolutely no end.

Saying that, I was about 11-14 when playing it :D

I used to meta a pretty OP character that could roll through anything in Morrowind at that age, on +100 difficulty.

These days though, I can barely play Skyrim on Novice! :p

Swear I used to be a better gamer when I was a kid, same with almost everyone I know personally. Why do the 10 year old's you run into these days suck terribly compared to everyone else? Surely by our generation's logic, they should be the best in the world?

I blame the fact video games are dumbed down to **** these days, kids never have to push themselves mentally or physically to accomplish anything, not even online.

EVE, I tried playing it and it blew my mind, my mate has been playing it for years and now has three titans, which if I believe what he says were worth thousands of pounds each!
