Most efficient way to share a folder between server and android?

Fed up of having to use third party Dropbox etc

Is there an easy drag and drop app that I can sync wirelessly either every time I press refresh out every set time interval?

Something like Dropbox but without the 3rd party server?

That would only sync when you were in range of your home wireless though assuming you were sharing out from your PC/Mac.

Is Google drive just like drop box? A third party server? If so is it better than drop box?

The first one looks ok. It would be nice to be able to sync up any where but if this isn't an option then it will do

This looks like the daddy. It successfully sees all the folders on my server

About to set it up and later try it over cellular 3g
