Fantastic trilogy in my mind. Think 3 took me 30 hours in total.
I really seem to take my time with games!! The trilogy easily took me a leisurely 60-70 hours.
Nobody mentioned Dark Souls yet
It's the RPG of the moment for me, 135 hrs and counting, i'm lv 159 and running through New Game++ (3rd play through). I can't see myself getting bored anytime soon. I want to get max level, 711![]()
Can't believe they didn't make a sequal to Origins![]()

I think the op'r should consider this too, on NG+ myself at the moment having clocked up around 160 hrs and I'm still not bored of the game. Best combat mechanic in an action/rpg ever imo.
Witcher 1&2 also, play 1 first, it may be oldish with a slightly dated graphics engine (still looks nice all the same) but it's a very good rpg imo. Witcher 2 is one of the best rpg's in recent years and is graphically stunning.
Hell! They're all good on that list, play all of them but add Dark Souls and play that first.![]()
Dragon Age 1!!!! It's something you simply can't miss on the PC.
Probs because it is not in the ops list, even though others were mentioned that are not in his list. But I agree Dark Souls is the second best RPG after the Witcher series.
I disagree, IMO Dark Souls is the best in the RPG genre, and Skyrim is the best overall game. Don't ask me how that works because I don't know, but it's what my mind is telling me.![]()
Nothing will ever beat the Witcher series, if you think otherwise I believe talk is over and it is time to step outside and handle this the old fashioned way![]()
Skyrim was amazing fun for 100 hours or so, then it got dull. I'm not sure if the DLC will fix that and if it justifies returning to the game.
