Well technically speaking you have a point mate lol. The explosive effects do actually hit the fps quite hard if there is a lot of smoke and explosions going off.

They really don't. Locker and Metro are far and away the lease taxing even with explosives going off everywhere.
 
On all maps ill get drops into the 50's on a stock 780 when there's lots going on. Need a second one badly, well more like want than need.
