Most graphically pleasing game?

Crysis 2 with the high resolution textures and DX11 patch is probably the most technically advanced game.

Technically advanced by rendering DX 11 effects on concrete blocks which have no massive visual impact and yet destroy performance?

I've not really played any graphically pleasing ones lately, but I'm playing through Oblivion again with some lighting mods and texture packs along with new water shaders and it looks quite pleasing at times.

I just got BF:BC2 and some of the textures (e.g. on materials) are very impressive.

I'm surprised so many are saying TW2, it does have good graphics but they're too glitchy to be properly impressive. I regularly have lines show or grainy textures on peoples' faces.

The original Crysis is still very good too, especially considering it's age.

I have the latest drivers for my 6970, checked on the official site. it'd be strange if they were the cause.

Exactly the problem. I had to use the last batch of CAP drivers to stop all the problems (i.e. not the latest release). Weird that the latest release didn't also contain the fix, but that is how I fixed my problems.

The latest drivers are not always the best :( me and a friend both have a 6950 and now that we have the latest drivers if we minimise while playing HoN and try to open it again we get black screens which can only be resolved by minimising and opening it again. Sometimes even takes more quick attempts!

Metro 2033.

Honourable mentions go to : Stalker : Clear Sky, Crysis - imo starting to age a touch now though overall still looks great.

Thought that Stalker SOC with complete mod was very nice.

I'm playing Stalker: Call of Pripyat at the moment (again, completed it once before) with the Complete mod. Believe me, at full tilt with all the DX11, SSAO, etc it crucifies my PC yet looks beautiful.

I've got it toned down slightly to be playable but it still looks good. The raindrop effects and wet surfaces look amazing.

Metro looks good too and of course Crysis 2 DX11 (shame it's such a crappy console port).

I'll dig up a few CoP screenies when I get home.

Crysis 1 on the level where your with the US army and have to take out AA guns which are tearing apart F22's overhead is still the best graphics in a game I've ever seen. Close second is the aircraft carrier scene at the end of the game, which is also exceptionally high on eye candy.
