Most graphically pleasing game?

Arma 2 looks even better then I remember crysis, kinda amazed it even works for me. Only some maps and some angles does it click though which I remember crysis was a bit like, sometimes real

sometimes less is more and whats shown is less then half of whats known, I always felt stunt car racer was one of the best ever for its feel.
feel > graphics
 
if you want a game that has amazing visuals AND gameplay/story id vote The Witcher 2!

bfbc2 is pretty nice but beginning to look dated! i do worry that bf3 may have focus'd too much on the aesthetics over gameplay but i have yet to play any code of it so cant say! just been waiting soo l;ong and getting worried :D im sure they know what they're doing!

crysis 1 and 2 are good looking but the games feel more like tech demos in the sense that they look nice but arent amazing innovative games etc

waiting to download dirt 3 and i hear good stuff! need to wait for the amd promo to come back up!

and metro 2033 is nice too :D
 
Crysis 1, Witcher 2, Dirt 2/3, Deus ex, COD series, bioshock 2, assassin's creed, gta 4, SW: force unleashed 2, dead space ... This games are really nice looking to me!

I've played all these games and they've all got good graphics, which is the best though is down to personal preference but if you're looking for good games with good graphics then this list should do you.

Most atmospheric, metro 2033
Most impressive for age crysis 1 (still one of the best looking games)
Very good lighting/textures, stalker complete mod
Most impressive graphics, witcher 2

All IMO.

Also none of the above have the best story or gameplay, but if pretty pictures are what you are after then you can't go wrong with the above especially metro 2033 :)
 
One of the best I've seen in recent years is Lord of the Rings Online.

Some of the scenery is purely stunning, especially with settings ramped up. Very picturesque at times.
 
moded gtaiv looks awful and overexposed imo..
i could probably turn my brightness and contrast to max and never need to install that mod

Start the game from the beginning, the level where your in the sinking submarine the realism is breath taking.

Borderlands is a good looking game, it's different!
 
Crysis 2 with the high resolution textures and DX11 patch is probably the most technically advanced game.
 
Well I now have a nice list of games to play though on my new system :D

I got Crysis 2 last night so will just need to find time to update it and play it! I wonder how the gf would take being told I am busy tonight? :D haha
