How long should a guy wait to make contact after getting a girl's number on a night out?

By the way this is the question im gonna send her im my txt :p just baffled how long to wait!

Been out of the game for a while...i would say serious answers but this is GD! I would also ask should it be a call or text but thats for another day...
 
she is out on the pull...you got her number, i'd say wait a week or two and see if she can do better.
 
Depends on the context surely? If in doubt, give it a day or two. Don't **** around playing games though.

You got her number? I'm sorry, but I take it this was last night? I.e. you got in this morning and the first thing you can think about is posting on overclockers at 2:46am, you should have tried harder on the night and you would have been up to your nuts in some guts at that time, and by the time I'm posting this; she would have been making you a fry up for breakfast.

I am dissappoint.
