My friend just bought an iPad, and not him nor anybody that's looked at his Facebook status can name ONE thing that it can do that a laptop cannot. One thing. And I even offered a free iPad to the winner .

That's not doing anything, iOS is integral to the ipad

the ipad is too small to be powerful and too big to be genuinely portable, any more portable than a netbook, at least.

Wow a free of charge operating system that it is available on 30+ handsets across 4 different networks is only just outselling an operating system that is only available on a few different handsets with a premium price and locked to one network. Thats very impressive. Oh and the figures apparently dont include iPhone 4......... Hmmmmmmmm.

Most people dont know what Andriod is because they dont care - its bastardised out to so many different handsets in so many different versions thats its irrelevant as there is no cohesive 'Android' experience.

People who buy an iphone don't buy it because they want the best value for money, or the most customisable OS, or the fastest processor, or the latest screen tech. They buy it because it's something they've heard of and so it's the easy choice for a 'good' phone.
