Most Pointless Modified Car

I was just browsing around, as you do, and i came accross this:

Nothing unusual in that its a modified corsa, but for some reason, curiosity lead me to read the description.

Im struggling to find ANY reason why anyone would want to modify this particular corsa, after all, its a 1.5 diesel. How horrificly slow must this be. Correct me if im wrong, but its 50bhp :o

Secondly, why would anyone pay £200 for it, let alone £1,300. After all, its got no tax or MOT :o

I guess theres no real point to this thread, im just totally shocked at the price for the slowest, worst looking, horrific corsa i think ive ever seen.
 
Yep - 50bhp. Goodness knows what the 0-60 will be for a NA 1.5 D - probably about 16/17seconds!

Price? In standard form, good condition with new tax and MOT, no more than £500. In that state, probably far less

As it has no MOT then I wouldn't spend more than £100 on it. If he says it needs TLC then it's serious - it only costs £50 or so to get an MOT so if he could he would!

If I was purchasing a car owned by a mechanic I would be shocled to find no T&T and also the need for TLC.

He must be a crap mechanic.
 
never buy a car from a mechanic. their own cars are the last thing they care about lol My dad ran hs mk2 astra gte in to the ground. It did do 200k though and almost none of that was motorway milage
 
tbh thats not *too* horrible as corsas go. it would be more pointless if he had one of those stupid flip paint jobbies
 
surely any 1 litre corsa or saxo or 106 or whatever with a bodykit and huge bean can exhaust is pointless..you can black out the windows all you like or put huge wheels on it..its still never going to go any faster
