most reliable 2tb hdd?

i've got 2 1.5tb western digital greens and a 1tb of the same, i plan to get some 2tb disks but all the reviews i've seen about wd's 2tb greens have been dire.

seen reasonable reports about sammy's spinpoints.

any thoughts?

I have 4 x Samsung 2TB Spinpoints in a ReadyNAS and 8 x 1TB on my RAID never had a problem with any of them

I had WD Greens fail on me before which is why I only use Samsungs these days!

i agree, ive also got a Samsung 2TB Spinpoint. Very fast, never had any issues. However i did have a 1TB 2 week old Spinpoint fail in my other system last week - guess that might be a one off, as i normally stick to Spinpoints and generally they are very reliable.

Just a heads up, if your wanting to purchase the samsung units mentioned above then be quick. These are last of stock.
