Most secure browser?

I'd give Opera a go. But I can't see why FF is giving you problems with tracking cookies. Have you told it to ask you for permission to set cookies? I have, so when a site wants to set cookies I accept cookies from that site but any others I refuse.

Firefox user here and I don't get any tracking cookies with the following:

NoScript: prevents scripts running unless the user manually enables them, thus preventing advertising scripts running which could download a tracking cookie.
Adblock Plus: Blocks adverts that may install tracking cookie
Spywareblaster: It doesn't run in the background (Realtime) but it adds a list of advertising cookies into Firefox's "block" category so it blocks them. All you have to do is load it up every couple of weeks and update and enable the protection (transfers the newly updated database to Firefox's block list)
Spybot: The latest Spybot does a similar job to Spywareblaster

Every spyware scan I've done over the last 2 months has been clear :cool:.

IE7 is horrible! I hate it, it is so slow and useless. GUI, hmm, well it's not too bad but I prefer the Firefox GUI

Firefox is so much better, customizable (not that I bother) but extensions.

NoScript is something that I never go without.
 
Use the Firefox Cookiesafe extension (addon)

It blocks all Cookies by default , you just teach it to allow the ones you need
on the sites you need them enabled on

For the totally paranoid like me the firefox extensions I use are:

Adblock
Cookie Safe
No Script
Refcontrol
Flashblock

I also use all-in-one Gestures ( for mouse gestures )
