most valued item

My most valued item would have to be my solid silver Miyazawa Flute. I wanted it for so long, worked very hard to afford it and spend a lot of time with it.

My large collection of photographs (just over 13k pictures) would have the most sentimental value to me. There's pictures of friends, family members and pets that are no longer living. I would be completely devistated if something happened to them.

My car.

I hate anybody going near it.

The sodding little kids who play football on the street get my back up, especially when they glare at me through the window. I try asking them nicely to play in the park down the road, to which they just laugh and giggle when I go back into the house.

The next little **** who kicks a ball at my car is going to find themselves getting held up by the throat!

Also, people who slam the door or start writing their name in dirt get an earful from me.

Nobody touches my car.

Your 19 and have 13K pictures, thats more than one (a lot more) for every day youve been alive. Why?

Since we are talking physical possessions here it has to be my PC. In terms of money it's worth the most and in terms of usefullness and the amount of entertainment it can provide it also scores highest. Though it doesn't have any sentimental value whatsoever. I don't really get sentimental feelings over objects so there isn't really anything that has sentimental value for me.

have to be carefull with it dont you, must be worth a mint.

I'm fed up of this forum and their 'badge snob' attitude.

So what if I have a Rover. So what if I'm proud of it.

I'm the one who has to drive it, not you.

I'm sure you'd be pretty peeved off if you saw your new car (ignoring the fact it was a 12 year old Rover 214) go from absolutely mint to tatty and full of scratches in less than 12 months.

:)

To having its roof crushed in from being rolled in reverse :p

I've been thinking about this since I first noticed the thread 2 hours ago and have come to the conclusion that there's not a single item which I own which I would be particularly upset if I lost. I have items of monetary value but they're either insured or I could replace them easily. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing really...

Actually, the only thing I treasure at all is my recently departed dad's music collection (if you can call it that) as the tapes remind me of time I spent with him and of my childhood.
