MOT question..

The MOT on my sisters car runs out on the 20th of August.. but she will be away then. Can I get the MOT test done 2 weeks prior to the 20th (like on the 7th of august) and would that mean that the new MOT would expiry in a years time of the date that car is tested e.g. 6th august 2012 or will it be the 19 august 2012 as the current MOT expires on the 20 august 2011?

Think its a month in advance and it will expire at the same date as it would do if you got it done on the last day.

If you take your current mot certificate, you can do it up to a month in advance and the new mot will start when the old one expires.
