MOTD 2 - Colin Murray

What have I said that is anti manyoo? That Neville is nasal? Do you disagree or is my stance on something from other threads somehow being forced into every other thread? :/
 
I am, yes, but it doesn't need to get mentioned in every thread, especially when it has no bearing on the subject in hand.
 
Neville is ok, he is just boring to listen to but a lot better tahn Souness/Redknapp etc. that are on SKY

Murray loves the sound of his own voice, not sure how he went from big a tin pot DJ to football pundit.
 
I don't mind Redknapp, at least he's got a bit of personality and a bonable mrs. Souness does grate a bit.
 
Hmm. Wouldn't want to miss the chance to have a sly dig at a Manchester United legend :p

He's a top pundit.

Jamie "literally" Redknapp :p

I like Jamie, he exaggerates a lot and needs some perspective, he does make good points sometimes though.

Souness talks so much that occasionally he says something that makes sense, but it's more down to the law of averages.

I just don't get why Shearer is employed to talk about football, he's clueless.
 
When gary Neville was a player I hated him. he was highly unprofessional in every aspect of dealing with other players and fans and I really didn't like him at all.

As a pundit he's actually not that bad TBH. He's no Jimmy Arnfield but he's not bad. I do notice however they haven't had him on any Liverpool games yet. Would love to see him do a Man U Liverpool game and watch him go off on one. He really does not like the Scousers!
 
I like Neville as a pundit, which surprised me a lot, I don't think I rate a single other sky pundit apart from him.

Get Gazza and Mick Quinn for some real character :p:D:rolleyes:
 
I quite like him.. Certainly better than Adrian Chiles who doesn't seem to have a clue about anything going on around him.

I probably watch MOTD2 more than I do the the Saturday version as I'm more likely to be out or doing stuff. I would prefer MOTD to be at 7pm tbh.. MOTD on late Saturday evening is a bit old hat based on an old age tradition of getting back home when the pubs closed at 11pm :D.

I like listening to Dixon.. Had a lot of respect for him as a player.

To err, to be frank, anyone err, anyone would err, anyone would be err, would be better than err, better than Chiles.

I like Colin Murray, especially his friday night Radio Five show with Perry Groves and Pat Nevin.
 
Agree with OP I hate his accent lots with a passion as well. Someone should send the BBC this page.... to show him what most people think of him lol

Murray isn't too bad. I usually watch the entire show with MOTD 2, but I always watch MOTD once recorded so I can skip the talking from Lawro / Hansen / Shearer.
 
I agree with WeeBull I love watching MOTD2 with Murray and Dixon, especially as they normally have a current player/manager alongside them.
 
my only problem with match of the day is the time they put it on, they should put it on at 9pm or something. to watch all the teams seems to drag on forever and forever, im usually too drunk and fall asleep before the show is even half way though.
 
Don't really care as I only zoom through to the match highlights I'm bothered about as I normally Sky+ it and watch next day after work.

Do hate Adrian Chiles though, infact all of ITVs football coverage in general. Gets muted straight away!
