Motherboard advice

I'm currently designing my first home-built computer and have been getting help from some people on these forums.

You can see the other thread here.

The Motherboard that has been suggested to me is currently out of stock/unavailable and, because of the large choice available, I don't know what else to go for.

Any suggestions from someone more knowledgable?

Smart money now says get one with a P35 chipset.
The GA-P35-S3 would be the P35 replacement of the one suggested in the thread. Or the Abit IP35-E which is about £5 cheaper but does not have RAID and only has 4 SATA ports.

Make sure you get one that supports ddr3.
