Motherboard and NVMe compatibility

Hi if anyone can help I would appreciate it as the motherboard manual has me a little confused .Would the following be compatible ?

WD BLUE SN550 1TB NVME M.2 2280 PCIE GEN3 SOLID STATE DRIVE (WDS100T2B0C)

ASUS PRIME B450M-A (SOCKET AM4) DDR4 MATX MOTHERBOARD

Yep it supports a single NVMe Gen3 drive no problem.

It's the M.2 slot just above your top PCIe slot (where your GPU usually goes)

Thanks for that ,I’ve fitted one before but I was reading the manual and seen
“This socket allows you to install M.2 (NGFF) SSD modules.”
And got slightly confused as I’ve never heard of NGFF
