Building a pc soon and im wondering....are there any motherboards out that support both ddr2 and ddr3 on 1 board.

Id like to use ddr2 until the cas latency on the ddr3s go down without having to change the board.

any ideas ?

Asrock make 3 P35 boards which support both - like the one in my sig. Also they make an X48 board with both DDR/3 as well.

I noticed all these boards are ati supported, is there a chance u can use sli rather than crossfire or will it not work...sorry i dont know much about this bit.

i will be using nvidia n hopefully the new chips when they come out :p

AFAIK there aren't any DDR2/DDR3 nVidia SLi boards. nVidia boards are either DDR2 or DDR3, and not both.

You can ofcourse run a single nVidia card on a Crossfire motherboard, but not two.
