What is the best motherboard for getting a stable overclock for an E6600 ?
I want a board that will give me the best stable overclock using a Tuniq Tower, 8800GTS, Decent RAM (10th anniversary ?). I hope to use RAID 0 too.
SLI is not essential. System will be used for gaming and multimedia. I am open to suggestions for 965, 975x, 650 and 680 Boards.
I would be interested to hear of peoples overclocking experiences with their Motherboard & E6600 using Air cooling. Would 3.6ghz be possible ?
A few I have looked at so far....
Asus P5W or BadAxe 2 - 975x
P5B-DLX or Gigabyte DQ6 - 965
P5N-E SLi - 650
EVGA - 680 (or even wait for the new Gigabyte quad 680 ?)
No idea which to go for - please help me choose !!
