Motherboard /graphics question

I can't see a reason why you can't have an Ati card in it on it's own, although chances are it might run slightly better if you got an equivalent nVidia in it it'd run slightly better because of the same chipset vendor.

But if you mean trying to run an Ati card and an nVidia card at the same time in a sort of crossfire/sli setup then no, definitely not lol :)

nooo its just i ordered a superclocked gt but its obviously gona be a while, so im just getting ready to cancel and buy a new ATI...but i just needed to check if it would run.

Lol ah right, I get ya. I mean there shouldn't be any reason why it won't work, but you might want to get a second opinion because I don't have much expreince with nVidia chipsets.

They will run fine, apparantly there is some optimisations present in the newer chipsets for graphics cards from the same vendor (which I think is a ******* stupid idea but that is beside the point here). Simply put it won't refuse to work and the difference, if any, will be negligible.
