Hey all,

I'm about to sell my old motherboard (See MM soon

)

I was wondering if it was okay to just put the motherboard ontop of the black bouncy fabric stuff and send it like that?

Needs to be in anti-static bag or pink anti-static bubble wrap as a min really!!

You really need an anti-stat bag and something to stop the mobo moving up and down unless you have the cardboard packing that would normally come in the mobo box.

No motherboard or graphics card can travel safely unless inside a box with a badly done CGI wizard, monster or babe on it!

Anti static bag is a must, you must have one that your new mobo came in?

Could also do with some bubblewrap or crumpled paper to stop if moving about in the box

Yup, anti static bag then bubble wrap or foam in the box to secure everything.
