Hi i have an asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe but it has just packed in on me, however i cannot afford to buy a new one of these can anybody tell me what motherboard would be suitable to replace this with? preferably a slightly cheaper one than this one! Thanks!!

That's an NForce 4/5 Board and the closest thing made currently is the N650i chipset.

If you can afford it, this Gigabyte SLi board is probably the best replacement - the drivers etc. should be almost identical so it should be a pretty straightforward swap.

If you need something a lot cheaper, then the ASRock Penryn1600SLI is a little bit cheaper, if you can find one (not on OcUk, and I can't tell you where:().

If you don't need the SLi then the MSI P6NGM-FD is under £40, but has all the same features and should also be pretty much a drop-in replacement, but it's an MCP73 board so you may have some boot-up driver issues.

You may well also be able to get a P5ND2-SLi on the 'bay, but it's unlikely to be any cheaper than a more modern board that will also support Core2 CPUs.
