Hi All

I just about ready to start thinking about having a system upgrade.
It will probably be based around a Asus or Abit motherboard.
I'm just wondering do the more modern motherboards come with Raid drivers on floppy or installation disc for Windows Vista or Vista 64, or are the Raid drivers still more tailored for Windows XP???

Nvidia raid drivers are implemented in vista so no need for a separate disk, vista will automatically recognise your raid array. Intel raid drivers can be downloaded from intel and put on the media of your choice. Vista has the option to 'load driver' when your hard disk selection appears.

The Intel P35 RAID drivers are also on the Vista DVD. I'm not sure about the P965 ones, but they are probably there too.

But tbh I would still download the latest drivers and pre-load them as the drivers on the Vista DVD are atleast 6 months old and are a quite early release.

Nope that option is no longer there. You get the option to load new drivers on the hard drive/partition selection screen.
