Motherboard specs..are they acurate?

Hey guys,

just been reading up that my motherboard (Gigabyte H110M-HS) supports 32gb RAM, but..at apparently at speed of 2133MHz? Surely it can run RAM faster than that?

No because anything above jdec is OC and H chipset can't OC.

You'd have to check what options are actually (available with that RAM) in the BIOS - motherboards rarely list anything beyond standard supported specs for RAM anyhow i.e. mine lists only DDR3 2400 as the max supported but will do above that - as per what 8 Pack says though there is no guarantees as to what is supported above what is listed especially with certain chipset variants.

Thanks guys. Just wanted clarification, think I will overhaul end of year, my spec will hold out till then im sure..
