motherboard wth onboard graphics and sound

im really out of touch with motherboards, so could someone please help.

i want to do a cheap upgrade for my bedroom pc which is used only for music and dvds. its currently running a:
abit ic7 max3 board
1 gig of ram
intel 2.4ghz
and a radeon 9800
creative 2 sound card
main drive is 40gig.
vista

am after a motherboard with onboard graphics that will support a hd output via hdmi, with a decent on board sound. hard drive is painfully slow so will probably replace.

also i cant remember what the situation with vista is if i replace the board, chip and hard drive, will i have to ring ms to re-activate?

I assumed from your first post that your processor was a Core 2 Duo?

If not, and you only want it for music and DVD, an E2XXX would be fine (and you could always OC it).

Edit: Not sure how good for overclocking the board I recommended is though (see here). If I get round to it I'll see what I can get out of it tonight.

the chip is an old skt478 one.

this should be fine then
