Motherload

was totally addicted to this game in my final year at uni, i got 10 more people utterly addicted to it too...

I ended up completing it and getting to a point where some lava monster comes and fights you. Man, was awesome, i want more hahaha :D

Got bored, and found some cheat...and I came across a boss with a stick who whooped my ass. :eek::o

Arrrgh that gas thing is REALLY annoying I've just randomly blown up a few times now.... How do you avoid it? Can a strong hull withstand the explosion?

great game i spent most of my second year at college on it. I have the gold edition on cd somewhere will have to hunt for it later. :)

Yeah the best or second best hull at full health will survive a gas blast. Take plenty of hull repair kits with you.

Full strength hull copes well with it and buy lots of explosives to get through the blank cells to reach the minerals.
