Motion blur IPS vs VA

I have a 32GK650F-B monitor which is a very nice monitor in general but uses a VA panel. The complication for myself is that I perceive a lot of motion blur. From what I have read, an IPS panel would be more suitable for myself. Is that so? Maybe my knowledge is outdated because I thought that I had read at some time that VA panels were better.

Thanks.

Would an oled not be better with it's near instant pixel response time?

I should go into more detail. For me, each frame blurs into the next to the extent that any scene with lots of motion such a fps shows little clarity. Is this something that a switch to IPS would help or have i got the wrong idea entirely?

Thanks.

This is generally a problem with VA unless you go very high end VA like Samsungs Odyssey range.

As for OLED burn in... my flat mate has had the Alienware AW3423DW since it launched and it's been on practically everyday since then, Zero burn in.

You just need to take the proper precautions, Get a bunch of different wallpapers and set them to switch every few minutes, Hide the taskbar, Don't have any icons on the desktop and make sure the pixel refresh is setup correctly.

VA has much worse ghosting than IPS, but has better contrast generally. I'd still take an IPS over a VA.
in general yes, however, Samsungs G7 and G9 240hz VA panels put a lot of high refresh IPS monitors to shame even in the darker transitions. How they manage that is pure voodoo as their G5 options are absolute garbage. I've also seen a lot of IPS monitors, you know the cheapo 144hz ones, with absolute horrible pixels response due to an uneven tune across the entire range causing certain transitions to stand out like a sore thumb.
