Just been using MotioninJoy. I'm finished now but when I unplug my DS3 it's staying switched on. Pressing disconnect in the software before unplugging it also doesn't help.

How do I get it to turn off? otherwise the battery will drain and I also cannot use my PS3 :/

No idea how to switch it off using that program, but the easiest way to get the controller to switch off at all would be to plug it into your PS3 using the USB cable, turn your PS3 on, disconnect the controller so it's using the Bluetooth, then turn off the PS3 and the controller should turn off with it.

If you meant you can't use your PS3 then I have no idea how to turn it off sorry. Ask in the PC Games section.

It switches off when I shut down the PC for me, just like the PS3.

Pretty sure you can turn off the PS3 pad by holding the PS button for like 10 seconds
